2 weeks ago, ALAFAVE presented their industries’ supplier catalogue. This initiative surged after a casual conversation between 2 participants to our last World Candle Congress, the idea started taking shape until it became one more added benefit to our candle manufacturers and suppliers.

Francella Morera, Project coordinator talks enthusiastically about the acceptance of this initiative. “Since the beginning, the catalogue’s idea awakened a great interest on our suppliers because they saw a new opportunity to stay in the minds of their customers. This was a way to create more business, in addition the advertorial included interviews which made it more attractive.”

In this first digital edition we thank the participation of 20 suppliers representing: waxes, wicks, dyes, machinery, and fragrances. The catalogue  has been distributed among our members with up-to-date memberships. A new printed edition will be handed to all the attendees at our annual congress in Cartagena, so there will be an opportunity to incorporate more companies.

José Luis Montes, director of JAM Global Solutions and paraffin supplier, stated that he had high expectations with this format. “We have always supported ALAFAVE’s initiatives because we are convinced that strengthening the association has a very positive impact on all of us who are members of it; furthermore, this catalog is a novelty in the sector, and we believe it will help promote us more as a company.” The official printed advertorial launch will take place during our general assembly. “It has been very inspiring and exciting to find out that several of our suppliers are family businesses and have a great history and experience in the candle industry. We are ready to celebrate with them this new success for ALAFAVE”, concluded Morera
