The 6th World Candle Congress and EXPO at a Glance

On behalf of the 6th WCC and EXPO Executive Committee, it is our pleasure to summon your presence to participate at our 6th World Candle Congress and EXPO in Barcelona, Spain on April 28th thru May 1st, 2019.

We are delighted to bring the World Candle Congress and EXPO for the first time to Europe. This 6th reunion will be hosted in Barcelona, Spain on April 28th thru May 1st, 2019.

The Association of European Candle Makers (AECM), the European Candle Association (ECA), and the Latin American Candle Manufactures Association (ALAFAVE) are hosting this world-class barrier braking, global event. The venue is the Crown Plaza Hotel Fira Center conveniently located in the cultural heart of beautiful and exciting Barcelona, Spain. Our mission is to strengthen and grow the candle industry worldwide.

The focus of the Enlightening the World with New Opportunities technical agenda is to bring exclusive insights for our attendees to apply to their business in today’s rapid changing economy. The EXPO will be a unique opportunity for suppliers to showcase and market their products and services to an international audience; we are expecting approximately 500 attendees, members of the leading associations in the candle industry, from about 30 different countries. Each association will hold meetings for their Board of Directors, committees and general memberships.
Join your colleagues from around the globe – candle manufacturers and suppliers alike – to learn about the latest issues affecting the candle industry worldwide, to see what suppliers have to offer and to network with your peers. * Member registration rates are extended to ALAFAVE, AECM, ECA, NCA and RAL members in good standing. Association dues must have been paid by the time of registration and all memberships will be verified.

**EXPO Only registration fees include EXPO admission, Lunch and Open Bar on Tuesday only. NOTE: All company personnel working in the Exhibition Hall on Tuesday, April 30th, and not participating in the rest of the congress activities, MUST register at the EXPO Only rate for admission.

***Spouse registration fees include Meet and Greet Reception and Luminaria Project, EXPO admission (with Lunch and Evening Open Bar) and the Closing Dinner and Dance Party on Wednesday. This is intended for spouses/personal companions only – not additional company representatives. If a spouse/personal companion wishes to attend any other events, he or she must register as a full event participant.

Online registration closes on April 19th, 2019. Effective April 20, all registrations MUST be made on site.
CANCELLATIONS: ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE IN WRITING AND ARE SUBJECT TO A 150€ PROCESSING FEE. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER APRIL 20.

All participants, including exhibitors entitled to complimentary registration and additional booth personnel, must be registered to attend. Registration does not include hotel room. Please ensure to book your hotel under the accommodation tab.
